Anon track links!

So far track links look like this:
http://sendingdomain05.com/track?e=23gERGER24GDF&m=689999&l=1.

The domaintrack keyword, encrypted email, message id and link id are there for years and years.

Now, VoloMP™ clients are well respected, above board affiliate marketeers so our track links being so easily recognizable was never a problem. However, if you would like to try it out, beginning October 2017 you can apply to have your track links look like this:

http://sendingdomain05.com/superb?.=4CM9wmJwQjNyQTPtZiTh1WOsFFSaZnYHlDdjNUNqJmMw0TZK

This is work in progress, the link might look different in the future.

As you can see, the sending domain and the track keyword (easily changeable on the Customer UI > Global > Customize page) are the only 2 identifying bits of information. By swapping out sending domains (or other domains you use for track links) and by changing the track keyword between drops you can send volume after volume while advertizing much less information about your mailing operation.

Therefore, it would be a bit harder for an AI or human analyst on the other side to map out your IP space based on your mailing, or to claim horseshoe attack etc. Nor will they be able to strip out the encrypted email address from the track links and thus prevent normal operation of the complaints processor.

Please let us know at support@volomp.com if you would like this feature activated on your VoloMP™ server.
